Chicken Blanquette (GF)
This is a very interesting traditional French dish where we slowly cook chunks of chicken thigh in a creamy lemony sauce with carrots, mushrooms, onions, garlic, thyme, egg yolk and cream. Best serves over rice or mashed potatoes. Pair it with a Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc or dry Riesling (from Alsace).

Beef Bourgignon (GF)
This is the most popular French dish: we chose boneless beef short ribs, slowly cooked with carrots, onions, bacon and, of course, red wine! It's best served with gratin dauphinois (creamy potato gratin) or mashed potatoes. Do yourself a favor and enjoy it with a glass of French red wine.

Lamb Ragoût "Navarin D'agneau"(GF)
This is one of the staples of French cuisine, known as "Navarin D'agneau." The stew slowly cooks with lamb, turnips, carrots and onions. It's best served with a side of mashed potatoes, gratin dauphinois (au gratin) or rice. Pair it with a glass of red wine (Beaujolais, Cote du Rhone, Cahors...)
